A new pavilion will replace the tent a the top of camp, which was destroyed during Hurricane Helene. The pavilion will house games such as gaga ball and carpet ball and will serve as a covered program space on those hot or rainy summer days.
Camp Lurecrest is a Christian youth residential summer camp in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in western North Carolina on Lake Lure. From September through April, Camp Lurecrest hosts retreat groups from churches, schools, and ministries. Our mission is to love God, love others, and make disciples of Jesus Christ through camping ministries.
