The Boat Driver is responsible to safely drive boats, maintain waterfront equipment and vehicles, and provide instruction for tubing. Must have NC Boaters Safety Certificate. Must be 21.

Duties include but are not limited to:
Participate in waterfront staff training
Make sure boats are fueled up before and after session times
Work with Aquatics Director to ensure boat maintenance is taken care of
Keep record of boat use through logbooks
Cleanliness of boat each day (wiping seats down, windows)
Ensure that boats are kept in showroom condition
Help train the waterfront staff in terms of safe boating practices while out on the water
Ensure that required safety equipment and identification are on the boat at all times
Work with the Aquatics Director to ensure that appropriate emergency procedures for the waterfront are in place
Must have North Carolina Boaters Safety Certificate
QUALIFICATIONS
Professing Christian that commits to follow the mission and vision of Camp Lurecrest Ministries
Must have current certification in CPR, AED, waterfront (or attend upon arrival at camp) and life-guard
Previous boat driving experience
Current North Carolina boaters’ license
Completion of the CLM Boating Skills Test
Able to complete job tasks while being attentive to camper experience and overall safety
Respond with grace in high-stress situations
REQUIREMENTS
At least 21 years of age
Able to work on your feet, be outside all day, lift up to 50 lbs, and walk up to 5 miles in a day
Signed agreement of CLM Summer Staff Handbook
Successful completion of CLM Orientation Training
Program staff will operate under the camp guidelines for safety. By living, eating, and serving on-site, staff will model the values of CLM, as outlined in the Summer Staff Handbook and contract both on and off the job
