This year, we are excited about the camp speakers who will be inspiring the campers and staff throughout the summer:
Lindsay York first came to Camp Lurecrest as a camper before holding numerous positions within the organization, including a Summer Camp executive staff position. Lindsay then went on to acquire a certificiate in Biblical Studies from the Emmaus School of Biblical Studies, and has served on staff as Bible Instructor for the past 2 years. Lindsay brings a wealth of knowledge and energy, and communicates in a way that is engaging for our younger campers.
Tom Phillips is currently in a teaching position with the Emmaus School of Biblical Studies. Tom grew up going to Camp Lurecrest, and spent many years as a staff worker before receiving his certificate of Biblical Expositional Teaching from Montana's YWAM School of Biblical Studies. Tom's wide recognition as an astute expositor of Scripture and a dynamic teacher/speaker has given him the opportunity to teach both domestically and internationally, and also to become a featured teacher on the SBS International Online Podcasting Series.
Brett Ray is the founder and president of Right Choice Communications, a non-profit organization committed to touching the lives of college students, teenagers and their families. Since 1986, Brett’s unique style of communicating has taken him over the United States and around the globe. Every year Brett speaks to thousands of students regarding God’s unconditional love and grace for them. He continues to be involved in national youth conferences, camps, retreats, school assemblies, banquets, and youth rallies. Brett speaks frequently on college campuses in the United States and Canada. Brett and his wife Carol are also involved with Campus Crusade’s Family Life Ministry.
